Camp Abilities Benefit Concert 08

Yep, that’s the name of the concert I just got back from.  I went with Kyle, Colleen, and Kelly–brothers in my fraternity (we’re a co-ed fraternity…you read the names right).  We drove to West Chester, PA for West Chester University.  The concert was held in the student center.  It’s actually a really nice place.  There were about 5 or 6 bands playing, I’m not sure. We only caught 4, but we arrived late and left early.  Each band had it’s own individual style.  Somethings really got us jumping around, somethings just kept us standing still, somethings just allowed us to relax.  Though they were very diverse styles, all were entertaining.  I can’t recall names of any of the bands except for the last one we saw.  A local band from Allentown, PA did a really good set.  Their name was Ritter, and it was probably my favorite performance of the night.  I also won some cool stuff.  Another band, The Bouncing Souls, was supposed to attend this event but had to cancel.  They are a pretty big name around this area so I think they would have been a big draw.  Since they couldn’ t make it they donated a bunch of stuff for the cause for a raffle.  But so few people put in for the raffle…more luck for me :) .  I put in 2 tickets for a signed cd, one ticket for a dvd, and one ticket for a hoodie.  I wound up winning a cd and dvd.  Not a bad deal at all for four bucks.  All in all it was a fun night.  I still hear a constant buzzing in my ear, but I’m sure it’ll pass in the morning.
